Installation Guide

This is a curated collection of developer tools. To find and install individual tools, please browse the GitHub repository.

Steps

  • Clone the repository:

    • bash
        git clone https://github.com/BumgeunSong/daily-writing-friends.git
    cd daily-writing-friends

  • Install dependencies:

    • bash
        npm install

  • Set environment variables: Request access from an administrator to Firebase and Sentry projects to set environment variables. Create a .env file in the project root and configure it as follows. Refer to config/.env.example for the template:

    • plaintext
        VITE_FIREBASE_API_KEY=your_api_key
    VITE_FIREBASE_AUTH_DOMAIN=your_auth_domain
    VITE_FIREBASE_PROJECT_ID=your_project_id
    VITE_FIREBASE_STORAGE_BUCKET=your_storage_bucket
    VITE_FIREBASE_MESSAGING_SENDER_ID=your_messaging_sender_id
    VITE_FIREBASE_APP_ID=your_app_id

    SENTRY_AUTH_TOKEN=your_sentry_token

    Development Commands

  • npm run dev: Start the development server (http://localhost:5173)

  • npm run build: Production build

  • npm run type-check: TypeScript type check

  • npm run lint: ESLint check

  • npm run test:run: Run tests
